Terms and Conditions for the Members of Umran Academic Research Association

The Umran Academic Research Association (UARA) is committed to promoting academic integrity and excellence. To become a member of UARA, members must agree to a set of rules and regulations. The following terms and conditions were last updated on 24/03/2023.

Membership Qualifications:

UARA will examine academic qualifications before granting membership.

Membership Requirements:

All members are required to actively participate in UARA’s programs and activities, attend meetings, and contribute to UARA’s mission to promote academic integrity and excellence.

Associate Members must produce at least one research contribution per year, which can include articles, book reviews, or talks. Updates on research are appreciated every three months.

Communication:

Communication with UARA must be conducted through official channels, such as the UARA WhatsApp group or email at uara@umran.org.in.

Meetings:

All members are required to attend meetings as scheduled by UARA, which will be biweekly or as per need. If you are unable to attend any of the meetings, please let us know via email at uara@umran.org.in.

Responsibilities:

Members must strictly adhere to their defined responsibilities and complete tasks on time.

Non-Discriminatory Ground:

UARA opposes all forms of segregation and violence, including discrimination based on age, gender, sexual orientation, caste, religion, race, ethnicity, clothing, economic background, and academic qualifications.

Academic Ethics:

UARA reserves the right to determine whether rules and regulations related to plagiarism and privacy have been violated. Cases of plagiarism or violations of confidentiality may result in immediate termination of membership and revocation of published works. Members should consult UARA mentors if they are unclear about rules related to plagiarism.

By accepting these terms and conditions, you agree to comply with UARA’s rules and regulations. UARA reserves the right to terminate your membership if you fail to comply with these terms and conditions. UARA also reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions democratically.
