About U-Talk

U-Talk Magazine is a multidisciplinary, quarterly publication by the Umran Green Perspective Foundation, issued through its projects Umran Green School (UGS) and the Umran Academic Research Association (UARA). The magazine dedicates itself to fostering creativity, critical dialogue, and community-based storytelling.  U-Talk began in 2023 as an annual magazine. Recognizing the growing participation of contributors and readership, it became a biannual publication in 2025 and then quarterly from 2026 onwards.

The magazine bridges grassroots realities and scholarly reflection, highlighting voices often unheard—from rural poets and folk artists to young thinkers, women leaders, and cultural changemakers. This is achieved through a diverse range of content, including essays, interviews, poetry, photography, and visual art.

Rooted in the philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (the world is one family), U-Talk creates a vibrant platform where the vernacular meets the global and expression becomes a collective act of dignity, learning, and transformation. The magazine is hosted and published online by UARA.

It is a space for students, writers, artists, and community storytellers to express, connect, and inspire. Each issue amplifies diverse voices—from students to grassroots communities—and showcases the transformative initiatives of UGS and UARA, including education, cultural programs, and rural empowerment projects. Through storytelling and artistic expression, U-Talk aims to foster creativity, amplify unheard voices, and celebrate cultural diversity.
