Umran Kala & Sanskriti Kendra

उमरान कला एवं संस्कृति केन्द्र  ·  UKSK

The Umran Kala & Sanskriti Kendra is UARA’s centre for art and culture. It brings together artists, scholars and communities to document, study and celebrate the visual, musical and cultural traditions of South Asia — treating art not only as beauty, but as memory, devotion, resistance and dialogue.

Art as a Living Archive

Many artists whose work carries the history and feeling of their regions remain little known beyond their communities. UKSK creates a home for them: profiling artists, presenting their works with interpretive notes, and connecting art with research on religion, culture and society.
