Dr. Mritunjay Kumar
Historian & Archivist, Head of Archival Cell (UGC), Panjab University, Chandigarh
Dr. Mritunjay Kumar is a distinguished historian and archivist from Bihar, currently heading the Archival Cell (UGC) at Panjab University, Chandigarh. With over 15 years of teaching experience, Dr. Kumar has taught both undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University of Delhi and Panjab University. Prior to joining Panjab University, he worked as a researcher for the National Archives of Singapore, adding international depth to his expertise.
Dr. Kumar holds a Master’s and M.Phil from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, and a PhD from Panjab University. He has taught courses on the Rise and Growth of Colonialism in India and the History of the USA for the PG Program in History at the Centre for Distance and Online Learning, Panjab University. His research has been widely recognized, with over 15 papers published in various journals and edited volumes.
