Delirium

A wandering mind
a dreamless realm
an untamed child
in delirium's grip
the chaos prevails.

Madness reigns
shadowed streams
lost in illusions
a spectral play.

Darkness whispers,
thoughts in disarray.
Laughter echoes of joy bland.
Truth fragmented
and reality blind.

Light blackened,
Night is day.
A symphony of delirium
distortes sky.
The blankness persists
and fog it finds
as dawn unwinds.

A wish remains
for delirium to fade,
leaving dreams again in flight.
Ah! the bruised soul
finds the light.
