What music, what rhythm, what lyrics resonate with you—deep in your body, in your sense of belonging? Which melodies hold the memories of your childhood, your home, your community? Which songs have given you strength, offering solace or igniting resilience? How do the instruments, the rhythms, the beats layer your identity, adding depth and meaning?

We invite you to reflect on the music that has been more than just a song—music that carries childhood memories, cultural belonging, and the spirit of social resistance and resilience. An echo of strength, identity, and survival.

Let us gather to share in the power of music—lyrics that weave stories, melodies that transcend language and borders—creating a space for reflection and a shared sense of humanity.

We invite 6 participants to share their story or voice during the Musical Reflection and Connection event.

Selection will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

If your story is not selected for presentation at the event, it will still be considered for publication in U-Talk Magazine.
